The papers will be included in the symposium proceedings that will be distributed under CC-BY license on J-Stage, which is an online platform for academic publications. The copyright of the submitted papers will be kept by the authors.


Paper submission

Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit original papers to the
symposium. The length of the paper is from 2 to 8 pages in the
designated format. The paper must be written in English.

“License to Publish” form must be signed and submitted with the manuscript.

Paper submission will be done through Microsoft CMT. The details will be announced later.

The submitted papers will be checked by the program committee to ensure alignment with the symposium topics and maintain high integrity.
No peer review will be conducted.


Young Investigator Fund Best Paper Award

Since 2005, Jc-IFToMM has been awarding young investigators to encourage the activity of young scientists in the field of mechanism and machine science. The awardees will be selected from the young researchers who present their research work at the symposium. The Award will be presented during the award ceremony held at the end of the symposium.

Eligibility for the award:

  • The candidate must be the first author of a submitted paper.
  • The candidate must make a presentation at the symposium.
  • The candidate must be 35 years old or younger on the first day of the symposium.

To be considered for the award, individuals must register as candidates during the paper submission process. The papers of the eligible candidates will be reviewed by the award committee.
